Science is different from any other subject that a student takes up in school. This discipline unlike other courses affects the lives of each and every person in several ways. From the local weather to the food we eat, and from the simple electronic devices that we use in our day to day lives to the complex machines and systems, science is everywhere. Science involves seeing, handling, understanding and manipulating of real objects and materials. Teaching science therefore requires a different approach. Schools have to provide opportunities to their students to learn the various methods and processes.
BCS is a place where basic experimental skills are learnt by systematically performing a set of prescribed and suitably designed experiments. Performing experiments by one's own hands is not only a thrilling experience but is also important because it entails learning by doing. Multi-purpose science labs that can support different disciplines are important. Biology, chemistry, physics – these subjects require different materials, facilities and teaching methods, and therefore have different requirements for a laboratory environment. From here students learn through different models, specimens, slides, and understands proper content, think, reflect in daily life and explore themselves in 21st century .
